Within my lifetime, I have witnessed a technological quantum leap that has turned an art form that barely existed when I was a child to an industry that has redefined what is artistically possible. Where once an artist could paint a field on a canvas, now one can have their viewers actually walk across a 3-dimensional digital canvas. This is my goal: to create new realities for people to experience. Through the manipulation of light, polygons and coding my realities warp the viewer’s belief of what is impossibly strange or improbably fantastic. I create immersive visuals from dreamscapes for instillations and music festivals to a new level of immersive special effects for VR films. My goal is to find ways to merge form and sound into one amorphous whole; to find ways of going beyond watching or observing art to experiencing it and to witness and be part of this evolution of digital art.
